f451 1.3: Import from BookStack and Export Back
f451 1.3 takes over shelves, books, and pages from BookStack as drafts with a review and writes spaces back to BookStack as a book, from the command line or the browser. It also adds Mermaid diagrams, backlinks, and a review overview.
The Emperor's New Clothes: f451 Templates
In five releases, f451 gets a new look: building-block switches, frame switches, its own stylesheets, margin notes from footnotes, and footnotes in the WYSIWYG editor. The Markdown underneath stays the same, even where a syntax of its own would have been the obvious choice.
f451 1.1: Classifications and Frozen Releases
One day after version 1.0, f451 1.1 adds security classifications for pages, which also limit AI agents, and a release archive that stores approved versions read-only in Git.
f451: Documents Without Handcuffs
f451 combines the comfort of a wiki with Git as the single source of truth. Every page is a Markdown file on Forgejo or GitHub, every change goes through draft and review, and permissions come from the repository. Introduction, architecture, and live demo.
